I used to always check Sesame Street as a kid. Clips like this are a testament to why SS remains in a class of its own.

Sleepwalkas - Insomnia (Video)
Sleepwalkas "Insomnia" from The Moonmen on Vimeo.
(Directed by David Sainte and Nicholas Spaventa (The Moonmen)
Cool clip concept, digging the song too.
Coming out of Brooklyn, NY, the Sleepwalkas are MC's Ciph, Kassa Gaines and Vexed Lo with DJ Ease holding it down on the 1 and 2's from time to time. They are currently unsigned.

Synthesizer Patel says that you have to watch out for those bloody Synthesizer stealing bastards.
That interviewer looks familiar. Hey isn't that Trisha Goddard?

Tell the wife to buy more sausages
I had to follow the last post about a certain type of salty, fatty food with this sketch below. Which instructs sleep apnea-ists everywhere to firstly get up and cook up and then consume a dozen sausages when they can't sleep, There is a slight connection between both of my posts, I guess.
So, aside from Skins (off air while the Tour De France is on), the Peter Serafinowics show (from which the above skit is from, screening on ABC2 at 9:30pm Thursdays) is the best thing on TV down under right now. Good UK comedy rules.

Which is the biggest....
fish that a stray cat can lift. I don't know, but this Japanese game show below puts the question into play. This is hilarious. For those who aren't one of the 53,000 people that have already viewed the You Tube clip.

Loose Ends

Hope your Friday is going swimmingly. In Sydney, the sun is out and the temperature is rising. Well, 2007 is nearly a wrap. What have been the highlights for you? How many of you out there have made mistakes this year? How many of you are genuinely happy with what you’re doing and where you’re going in life? How many of you are on the way to be content? How many are already there?
I miss doing radio – can you tell? In an attempt to recapture those days, here are a few cool tunes for the ride, Boom Box or Ipod. Please note: All tracks play in zShare / Quicktime
First up, Alan Braxe & Fred Falke’s seminal House classic ‘Intro’ - euphoric is a word that spring to mind!

Anyone heard from Kwest Tha Madd Lad lately? His debut album, the appropriately titled ‘This Is My First Album’ definitely had some classic joints on it (You may remember Funkmaster Flex on his July 4th Nineties Hip Hop marathon mix saying “Wow”, when a listener called in and requested some). On ‘I Met My Baby At V.I.M.’, Kwest recollects how he met his main squeeze while buying some Puma sneakers over a slow rolling Dan Charnas beat.
Listen/Label/Year: American, 1996
“Make It Happen” is a timeless track from the late nineties. Hailing from Flatbush, Brooklyn, J-Treds (then member of NY collective the Indelible MC’s) blesses Supe & Kan’s piano laced production.
Listen/Label/Year: Fondle ‘Em, 1998
Produced by D-Maq and Lay Law (who should need no introduction), Ice Cube’s – ‘Growin’ up’ is a hard, nostalgic, heartfelt look back at Cube’s rap journey to date.

Summer Heights High
This new comedy series made its debut on ABC television last Wednesday evening. Chris Lilley of (We Can Be Heroes) fame has created a wickedly sharp comedy series in which a camp drama teacher (Mr G), trouble maker (Jonah Takalva) and a private school educated, stuck up teenage girl, on a student exchange program (Ja'mie King) are the subjects of this hilarious look at "what happens over one school term in an average Australian high school." (Summer Heights High)
