Found on Gods Playlist?

(Source: You Tube)

A soaring, glorious, phenomenal tune that never gets old.

(Source: You Tube)

Here is where I first heard it ages ago, I was watching it and thought damn, what is that song?

For years as a teenager I was completely obsessed with everything about skateboarding, especially what was going in New York during the mid-late Nineties. You do not understand how keen I am to go check out this Coan Nichols and Rick Charnoski made documentary on skateboarding in NY from the Seventies to now.

Traffic skateboards promo (Video)

Innovative concept, the skating makes for enjoyable viewing too, hopefully it will inspire some of you to grab your board and hit the streets.

NYC's Bobby Puleo (first off the bat), always had an original, fresh style, often and still utilising cellar doors, rails, banks, walls, objects that most would find unskateable.

Curiculum Mag got it. Universoul Productions spread the word.

Jim Phillips studio tour!

Pic from Stussy World Tour

His awesome, iconic artwork for Santa Cruz truly captured and reflected the raw untamed energy of skateboarding in the late nineteen Eighties. Fecal Face got the chance to visit Phillips in his studio earlier this year, definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity. Check the report back below.

Memory Lane

Video stores used to be so ill. I remember finding "Curb Dogs #1" tucked away upstairs in my local haunt. The upstairs section of the store was filled with long forgotten and obscure cult horror, action, sport and music videos.

Browsing through a random bunch (everything from "South Park" to "Newsfront" to tonnes of 80's porn) of old videos for sale yesterday, it got me thinking...........

No death - wobbles here

When "Reebok Pumps" were the shit

And I'm still after a #34 jersey to this day

As always thanks to those who took the time to upload these clips in the first place.

Skilled in the trade

You know.....Eric Koston's video parts are too much. I'll never forget seeing the audience at the Bondi Beach Pavilion ampitheatre during the Sydney premiere of the "Chocolate Tour" video, losing it while watching Koston tear it up.
