Greg Street feat. Nappy Roots - Good Day (Audio)

Mad late on throwing this joint up for the readers of Weight Of A Nickel to check. Yeah, yeah the New Music Cartel would of thrown this up days ago, I know.
So back to this great newish tune from ATL radio personality / DJ - Greg Street, which is the lead single off his forthcoming compilation for Interscope records, entitled "Certified Worldwide", featuring Lil Wayne, The Game, Wale, amongst others.
Slightly reminiscent of Nas's classic "I Can" (in terms of the positive message promoted throughout "Good Day"), this is a little feel good music for those who are grumpy, depressed, broke, stressed out, overwhelmed, heartbroken.
If you're in the South or the Midwest make sure you get along to one of the planned cookouts, album launches. I'll pass you over to Greg himself to fill you in on these forthcoming events.
“I want to plan a giant cookout for the listeners of radio stations in different cities and invite their families out. I want mothers, grandmothers and kids to come out and have a good time,” he says. “The food and the beverages will be free. Then at night we’ll do a party so we’ll touch on both levels of what’s going on: the family thing and the party thing.”
Word.
