Why Democracy?

SBS, along with 25 other networks worldwide are running close to a months worth of programming on the themes of freedom of thought, expression, liberal societies, religious beliefs, conflicting ideologies and so on. The docos were commissioned globally, to avoid any accusations that the programs represent a solely European or Western viewpoint.
