Soundtrack of New Years Day
Can’t believe Swervedriver’s tracks Duel or Blowin’ Cool (above) or Planes Over The Skyline or Never Lose That Feeling or the entire Mezcal Head were not mentioned in the 1001 Songs You Must Hear Before You Die or 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die books. Mezcal Head is an amazing album of some of the fiercest, you only get one life, coolest rock I’ve ever heard, yet I only know two other people in this city who know about it. I listened to a lot of good music from the early Nineties, last year and Swervedriver’s second album from 1993 was one of the best. Essential listening.

Soundtrack of now
Newish remix of Sydney based Toni Toni Lee's track from Western Australia's Shazam (via You Tube) that defies belief, takes you out of this world, something special indeed.
You can get it at all the usual digital music outlets (Ala Juno Download, iTunes, Traxsource, etc).

Everybody wants to be a DJ
New compilation for 8tracks:
Last week some time, I did another one of these.
I think it was like two, three years since my first and only compilation for this 8tracks site.
Went on a bit in the description for this one, see what you think of the selects.
There's some Fleetwood Mac, FS Green, Lone and a bunch of similar kind of music.
Plan to do a lot more of these, but you know actions always speak louder.

Found on Gods Playlist?
(Source: You Tube)
A soaring, glorious, phenomenal tune that never gets old.
(Source: You Tube)
Here is where I first heard it ages ago, I was watching it and thought damn, what is that song?
