Not five, not four, not three, just two

Right now we're going into a tribute to one of the most charismatic DJ's on the 1 and 2's, a legend, tragically taken, when he was murdered in his Queens NY studio back on October 30th, 2002. I am speaking of Jam Master Jay of Run-DMC.

Australia's Koolism have done a strong, drum heavy, rub cut filled, bold salute to JMJ which they unleashed earlier this week.

Koolism's Hau says about the track JMJ til Infinity:

Daniel and I knocked this tune together in a day or two to show our love for Jam Master Jay's work and his presence in helping to create this global phenomenon called Hip Hop. I substituted some of the lyrics from Jam Master Jay (from the Run-DMC album)...going head to head with Run and DMC, Daniel created the beat - recreating some of the same bits and cuts from the original tune. And there you have it.

Listen / Download: JMJ til Infinity (Mac users who don't have access to a PC and want to get a copy of this track to play out, especially any DJ's, radio hosts, let me know if you need an alternate link).

Note: this track is an exclusive download from the Koolism crew, it will not be on their upcoming album The Umu.
