Killer Mike's "I Pledge Allegiance To The Grind II" album is out tomorrow, available on Itunes now. You should go and get it. It's taken me a while to learn a little about and truly appreciate Southern Rap, so right now, it comes as no surprise that in 2008 the two US Rap albums aside from that hit the gut like a lot of the East Coast Boom Bap that got me into this music in the first place, are Bun B's - II Trill and Killer Mike's brand new record, mentioned above. To be blunt, Mike is making some of the most honest, reality based, motivational music, right now. Music to make the listener get up and take control of their lives. That's rare these days. Salute to a O.G.
